First, on the home screen on your netbook find and double click on an icon labeled WiFi Power. After doing this a popup window will appear on the netbook screen, in the pop up window click “Power On” and the netbook WiFi will turn on! Please note, if the popup window in the netbook says "Power Off" the netbook WiFi is already activated and theres no neet to do click the button.

- Please take the netbook and go to the main screen, on the main netbook screen double click the small WiFi icon located in lower right corner by the clock. This icon looks like a small computer with quotes on top. After this the netbook screen will produce a popup window, select the “wireless information” tab. Please select the name of the network the netbook will be connecting to, double click it or simply click the "connect" button. The netbookj should then produce a window called “wireless network properties”, in this window select the routers Encryption Type, then the Authentication Type, then enter the Network Key. Please note that the network key is not the passphrase for the WiFi network, it is the Hexadecimal code for the passphrase. If the netbook is connecting to a network which is not secured, simply check the unsecured/open authentication check mark in the "wireless network properties", the netbook wil then connect without a password since the network is not secure.

- Please take the netbook and repeat the steps in the above answer, if the netbook producec an error when trying to surf the web the above mentioned settings are incorrect. Simply log into the WiFi router that the netbook is connecting to and find the settings, then copy them over to the Netbook and save them. If the proper settings cannot be found and the Netbook still produces an error, contact the WiFi router manifacturer. While most Wifi Routers are manufactured by D-Link, Linksys, Netgear or Motorolla some may be different. In any case simply take the router the netbook was trying to connect to and flip it over, on the label there should be a manifacturer name and phone number as well as other information like the MAC Address and sereal number.
